MEZQUITE WOOD JAR, UNIQUE MEXICAN HAND MADE CRAFT, ART

This is a beautiful piece of fine Mexican craftsmanship. It is the first one that I've come across, and what makes it more special is that is made out of Mezquite wood. Normally you would think that mezquite is only for adding flavor to barbecues, but no, there is also a Mezquite tree which has one of the most beautiful wood grains that I've ever seen. It has also a nice scent. This jar has a perfectly fitting lid and can be used  for anything that you consider worth keeping inside.  It comes from the the state of Guerrero from a humble family that has specialized in carving wood pieces like solid salad bowls, forks, spoons and other beautiful items for many years.  Please look at my listed items to see a beautiful salad mixing bowl also made by them. The jar is very solid and it weighs 2 pounds and 2.8 ounces or 998 grams. DIMENSIONS: DIAMETER: 6.29 INCHES = 16 CM. HEIGHT: 6.1 INCHES = 15.5 CM THICKNESS:  0.6 inches  = 1.5 CM.
