In May 2006, Jonesboro began a major public transportation system known as the Jonesboro Economical Transportation System, or JETS. The system began running routes in May of 2006 to various places in Jonesboro. The system is made up of 5 buses that travel all over the city.Property Values in Jonesboro skyrocketed 24% from 2000 to 2005, and continue to hold firm!
