CANON SPEEDLITE 540EZ FLASH

The 540EZ was the successor to the venerable 430EZ and was a top-of-the-line flash when it was introduced and is still very useful today. With a Guide Number (GN) of 54' @ ISO 100 and supporting TTL and A-TTL metering, the 540EZ is capable of fully-automatic operation (ie. metering the ambient light to calculate the appropriate flash power) when used on any EOS film camera body. This flash can also be used on digital EOS bodies, but only in manual mode. A tilt and swivel head allows the use of bounce flash for soft, natural-looking shadows indoors and a motorized zoom head enables full flash coverage from 18-105mm, with the aid of an integrated flip-down wide-angle diffuser panel. Additionally, the 540EZ features stroboscopic (Multi) flash for stop-motion photography, flash exposure compensation (+/- 3 stops), second curtain sync, an energy-saving mode and a bright backlit LCD screen. The 540EZ is powered by inexpensive AA batteries. This flash is in good overall used condition.Compatible with all Canon EOS film camera bodies and all Canon EOS digital camera bodies in manual mode.
