Vintage Camphor Glass medallion pendant and chain

I am not sure how old this pendant is or even what the bit on the front means but someone out there might.... it is a sort of medallion of some sort done in brass and enamel....this is a good first piece for someone just starting on the beauty and expense!! of collecting "Camphor Glass"made of stainless Steele I would say length of chain is 42 cm pendant is 3cm by 2cm condition is perfect.
