Rawlings Stan Musial Baseball Glove and Book

This auction includes a vintage 1950s Rawlings Stan Musial glove and 1961 copy of Irv Goodman's Stan The Man Musial. The glove exhibits significant wear from handling and age. (see photos) The palm of the glove features a likeness of Musial in his batting stance with "Stan The Man" printed across the likeness along with a "Stan Musial" facsimile autograph. Also visible are the words "Deep Well Model" just below the web, and "place two middle fingers in this section" on one of the outer fingers of the glove. The Rawlings name is featured on the inside base of the glove and a Rawlings pin located on the end of the wrist strap. The leather threading has come undone between the index and middle fingers. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. The book is in nice shape - at 46 years old, the book's pages have yellowed over time, but the cover still maintains its bright, vibrant colors. If you look closely, you will notice that there is a ding/tear above the "i" in Musial on the cover. The book was #2 in a series released by Sport Magazine.
