This piece was printed on canvas and stretched over 3/4" hemlock bars and stappled on the back. The sides are finished in black so framing is optional. Clear gel texture is added on top of varnish for added protection All canvas giclees are shipped ready to hang. A signed certificate of authenticity is included with the giclee. All giclee production is done in-house so that there are no added costs for the collector.What is a giclee print?Giclee fine art prints are high quality reproductions of the original artwork of Courtney Simms. They are printed on the finest archival quality canvas. We use Ultrachrome inks that give the print superior image quality and a longevity of over 80 years. All giclee prints are sealed using a special non-yellowing varnish for added protection against UV rays. All giclee prints are signed and in limited editions of 500 making them a valuable art investment overtime.Every giclee is "hot off the presses" meaning that they are printed after being bought or ordered.The date of the printing is documented on the back of print along with the edition number and the applicable copyright.About the Artist Courtney Simms is a self-taught, self-representing Canadian artist who has been drawing since she could hold a crayon. Originally only interested in pencil and charcoal drawings it wasn't until 2005 that she added painting with acrylics into her artist repertoire. She is a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists.Always fascinated by shapes and the never-ending scope of colors it seems only natural that her interpretations would marry them together. With her unique take on expressionist painting she creates her signature landscapes by incorporating vibrant, dramatic colors with interesting shapes.
