For example, my daily lunch always, without fail, is a meal deal from Boots, and the sandwich is always chicken mayo. Thats just the way it is. The same goes for perfume too. Tommy Girl is just the way it is. So, imagine how my entire life was turned upside down when I was given J.Lo Glow as a gift. I'm not the biggest fan of Jennifer Lopez... in fact im not a fan at all. But she does occassionally look ok, and more often than not she looks stunning, so I didnt exactly object to being given a very elegant bottle of her perfume.And so... with a brave face... I did the unthinkable... I tried a new perfume. Throughout the day a couple of my friends even asked what perfume I was wearing... how observant they are. One friend in particular is a bit of a fan of all perfumes and knew exactly which perfume it was! She was standing behind me and sniffed, before announcing that someone close by was wearing Glow... I suggested she find a new hobby.The bottle is, as I said earlier, very elegant. It is fairly tall and curvaceous, like J.Lo herself, made of frosted glass and it is very smooth. There is a very delicate, silver, double necklace which hangs around the neck of the bottle and on the end is a pendant spelling the name J-Lo. The letters are made up of sparkling little diamante gems.... it is oh-so BLING. Strangely though, it is quite pretty, and not as naff as it may sound.The actual perfume (finally) smells very fresh and smells quite citrusy. I would say its like:Orange flowerRoseJasmine and muskIts very clean, fresh and light smelling and I was quite pleasantly surprised as I've heard that she likes the smell of vanilla, which I think is far to sickly sweet. Ice Cream - fine, a person - dont go there. So it did indeed surpass my fairly low expectations. I think its definitely light enough to wear during the daytime, but also it is suitable for the evening too.So, in conclusion, I would definitely recommend J.Lo's perfume, Glow... Although, I still dont think I would reccommend eating any other sandwich than a chicken mayo one. Miss ArtyWhy consider purchasing a Tester? Buy the original fragrance or cologne in the manufactured tester and demonstration packaging at a great value price! Testers come in the original manufactured packaging and may be labeled “Demonstration” or “Not for Sale.” Testers are intended for promotional display and therefore, may lack the designer cap/tops and fancy outer box packaging. I recommend you buying fragrance testers for personal use as they may not be not be appropriate for gift-giving. Cologne and perfume testers are a great way for you to enjoy your favorite scent without compromising the quality.
