VINTAGE HIRES ROOT BEER EXTRACT BOTTLE W/ ORIGINAL BOX

Vintage 3 oz bottle: I am not sure if this bottle has ever been opened. If so, then only a bit was taken from it. The rest of the extract inside bottle has turned sort of goopy over the years. There is a cork in the opening and smoothed over.   Also there is writings on each side of bottle (bottle is sort of squared)…one side, HIRES HOUSEHOLD EXTRACT, second side, FOR HOMEUSE, third side, MANUFACTURED BY THE CHARLES E HIRES Co., and fourth side, PHILADELPHIA, PA U.S.A.  Original Box: Box shows some wear from age…light staining in areas and missing tabs on openings for both ends (see pictures).   There are also writings on three sides of box: (ie) first side, Reg. U.S., Pat. Off. This bottle of extract makes 40 pint bottles of Hires Root Beer (Household formula) Delicious, Healthful.  Original Instruction Booklet: Booklet shows some wear from age, has some water stains in a couple of areas and is worn around edges.  Also has directions listed for French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Slovak, and two others I’m not sure of.  Please view all the pictures and feel free to ask with any questions!
