This is an artist signed limited edition print numbered 10 of only 1,500!  This is not a copy.  This is an original.  It includes the original, matching, numbered folio and the original certificate of authenticity.  The print itself measures 20" x 36".  The folio measures 20 3/4" x 37".This auction has been relisted due to a non-paying bidder.  We have made numerous, unsuccessful attempts to contact this bidder.This piece was originally listed as a framed print.  We had numerous questions about the quality of the print itself and thus had decided to unframe this print before relisting it to show that it is of top quality.  We have taken numersous up-close pictures of this print so that the potential buyer can thoroughly inspect it for his or herself.  All corners are sharp and there are absolutely no creases to be found."Woodland Encounter"What's the first thing you saw when you looked at "Wooland Encounter?"  I hope you said the Fox!  The 'background' fox, placed dead center within the picture, and being the only bright color, was to be the viewer's first discovery.  The 'foreground' Indians on horses, second.As you can guess, this painting was a complicated painting to design, howeve, a fun painting to look at... and look at!!- Bev DoolittleAbout Bev Doolitle (From COA)  Bev Doolittle’s subject matter is provided by the out-of-doors.  “I love nature,” she says.  “I try to look beyond the obvious and create unique, meaningful paintings that depict our Western wilderness and its inhabitants.  I start with a concept and then attempt to convey it through strong design coupled with detailed realism.  I want people to think when they look at my paintings.” Bev Doolittle was born and grew up in California.  In 1968, she graduated from the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles.  She met her husband, Jay, at school, and they started married life with a painting trip to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks – a portent of things to come.  For the next five years, however, the Doolittles were engaged in advertising art and TV production in Los Angeles. “It paid well, but after awhile I wasn’t learning,” Bev explains, “and we didn’t like living in the city.  We wanted to be close to nature, and we wanted to travel.”  They have now accomplished both; their frequent travels and backpacking trips have covered the western United States, Canada, Baja, California, and East Africa, and they now live close to nature in California.
