This truck was a New York state thruway plow truck. I bought it from a dealer who reconditioned it, repainted it and installed a new dump box. This is a very heavy duty truck equipped with a heavy duty pindel hook with air hands for airbrake trailer hookup. I was a building contractor and used the truck mainly for hauling my equipment to and from jobs. I did some hauling of gravel, dirt, etc., but the main use of this truck was for hauling equipment. This truck has air brakes and a jake brake. It starts and runs very well. This truck is equipped with two – 40 gallon saddle fuel tanks. The left fuel tank has developed a leak. We disconnected the lines to the left fuel tank and now only use the right side tank. The clutch pedal has very little free play in it, but does work. The dump box and tail gate work very well. I have moved my equipment (backhoe and bulldozer) from my last job which was 160 miles away from my home. It took me 2 trips to move the equipment. I did not have any problem with the truck during those trips. I am now retired, not working in construction, I therefore do not need this equipment. This truck is ready to work.
