Welcome to my Overstock estate auction I am selling this 100% Authentic original 18th Century Provincial British Farthing Trade Token from Herefordshire issued at Hereford, which is listed in Dalton and Hamer as DH-5.  Only Issued in 1794 Mintage only 25,000 very few exist today, this beautiful Pictorial Token measures approximately 29mm in diameter and struck in Copper.  The front features show an Apple Tree with the text SUCCESS TO THE CIDER TRADE / HEREFORD HALFPENNY / C: HONIATT.S / BIRM.M WAREHOUSE..  The back features Justice with the text FOR CHANGE NOT FRAUD 1794, and has a Milled edge.
