Montblanc Meisterstuck 144 Classique FP 90104-2 Burg.

You are bidding on an authentic burgandy and gold Montblanc Meisterstuck 144 Classique Fountain Pen. This fine writing instrument was crafted in Germany by Montblanc. The pen is approximately 5 3/8 inches long. The body is made of Montblanc's burgandy or maroon precious resin and is accented with a goldplated clip, and rings on both the body and the cap (see original photos). The cap of the pen snaps on tightly.This pen is in good condition. Under very close examination or under the magnifying glass you will see microscratches and microscuffs on both the body and the gold trim typical for a used pen.  The gold trim ring near the nib has corosion on the nib side -- this is typical for this style pens. The rest of the gold trim is in great shape with no fading.The pen does not come with its Montblanc presentation box and service guide. The pen is GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC or your money back including return shipping. The pen has a fine point nib, that is hand crafted with 14K gold and platinum inlay. The nib has the following markings on it: 4810, M, 14K, MONTBLANC and 585. The pen uses Montblanc ink cartridges and also accepts a piston converter. It will be shipped with 5 ink cartridges as well as the Pelican style piston converter already on the pen. "MONTBLANC MEISTERSTUCK" is engraved onto the center ring of the cap. The clip ring has "GERMANY" and the serial number "DD1246276" engraved in faint microletters on it.  There is a white star on the top of the pen.This model pen is not available anymore but the closest model 145 is retailing at $445.00 plus tax at the Montblanc distributor store.
